The service
Plateroom automates prepress: it fixes print files, imposes them, and produces press-ready output from a plain-English work order. It is currently an invite-only beta; features may change and occasional downtime happens.
Your responsibility at the press
Plateroom prepares files and flags anything it isn't certain about — but you (or your operator) review output before printing. You're the shop; final say on what hits the press is yours. We're not liable for print runs made without review, and our total liability is capped at the fees you've paid us in the prior three months.
Your files
You keep all rights to files you upload, and you confirm you have the right to print them. We only use them to do your job (see Privacy). You can purge any job at any time.
Acceptable use
- No processing of illegal content, counterfeits (currency, tickets, IDs), or files you don't have rights to.
- No attempting to break, overload, or reverse the service.
Accounts & billing
- Accounts are per shop; keep your credentials to your team.
- Paid plans are month-to-month, no contract — cancel anytime and the service runs to the end of the paid period.
Changes
If these terms change materially, account holders get an email first.
